Toward a circular economy: Tackling the plastics recycling problem

There are piles of waste plastics sitting on loading docks at municipal recycling facilities around the U.S., Canada and Europe as a result of China's plastic waste ban. 

It is imperative that we find new and better ways to deal with plastic pollution. A call for innovative solutions and the use of better models at a system level are required.
